MY BACKGROUND
Originally from East Belgium, a region located close to the German border, I grew up hearing German and French, my mother tongue. Fascinated from an early age with foreign languages and cultures, I very naturally chose to study translation.
I spent several years living abroad, notably in Denmark and the United States. I am now based in Luxembourg, a small and multicultural country within the heart of Europe and have been working as a freelance translator since 2009.
I am firmly convinced that openness towards others offers wonderful personal and professional opportunities. This belief inspires me each day to help businesses break down the linguistic and cultural barriers that separate them from their clients, sometimes within their own country – such as in Belgium, Luxembourg, or Switzerland.
To offer businesses a better service, I regularly complete Continuous Professional Development training in my areas of specialisation and in the latest translation technologies. I also attend international conferences and events to exchange ideas with my colleagues, strengthen my expertise and keep up to date with market trends.
